Sarah began her journey with Academy Animal Hospital as an intern in 2022 and officially joined the team in 2023. She quickly became our go-to problem solver—especially when it comes to anything computer-related! Known for her outside-the-box thinking, Sarah approaches every task, from blood draws to toenail trims, with confidence and excellence. She lives locally with her two dogs, Miller and Zorra, and her spirited tortie, Honeybee. Academy is lucky to have her as part of our team.

Chelsea Runyon joined Academy Animal Hospital with a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong passion for helping pets feel safe and understood. Before entering veterinary medicine, she worked at a busy doggie daycare, where she gained hands-on experience in behavior, enrichment, and caring for dogs of all ages and personalities.

racy has been with Academy Animal Hospital since 2007. Her easygoing nature, loyalty, and technical skill make her a favorite among staff and clients. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her kids, Mikayla and Christian, and her pets, Suki and Larrie the Boston “terror.”

Brenna is one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants who’s been with Academy Animal Hospital for over a year. She’s been instrumental in our Fear Free certification and helps Dr. Ellis with our Wildlife Hospital program. Brenna commutes all the way from Temecula to be part of our team—and we’re so thankful she does! She shares her home with two dogs, Winnie and Belle, and her cat, Socks.
